CHINESE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS 2010

The Chinese Chamber of Commerce will be awarding scholarships to senior high school students graduating in 2010.

Qualifications for our scholarships are as follows:

Who:            Students graduating from high school whose parents have paid their dues in 2009 may apply.  The scholarship committee will determine if an application is acceptable according to membership records.

                   Students who have maintained at least a B average may apply.

What:           Scholarships will be awarded to the top applicants according to scholastic achievement, extracurricular activities, and community service.

                   All applicants are required to send in their official transcripts, a brief essay listing any other additional qualifications as described above, together with the application on the reverse side of this page.

When:           Mail all paperwork by April 12, 2010 to:

Where:          Winning applicants will be invited to attend our 71^st Anniversary and Chinese New Year of the Tiger banquet on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 6:30 PM at Great Wall Cuisine, 5057 N. 35^th Avenue, as guests of the Chamber to receive their awards.  Recipients are encouraged to make every effort to attend and receive their scholarship in person.

Please read the qualifications carefully.  The scholarship committee cannot consider making any exceptions to the above guidelines.
